ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / RECEPTIONIST

Wellesley Asset Management, a growing registered investment advisory firm specializing in convertible bonds with assets under management over $2 billion, is seeking an Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to provide administrative support to our firm in our Portsmouth, NH office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for answering calls and providing administrative support to our firm.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and direct calls with a highly professional and positive attitude.
• Provide office visitors with a hospitable experience.
• Manage and order office supplies.
• Assist staff with administrative tasks such as proofreading, document formatting, preparing overnight mailings, and correspondence.

Qualifications

• Very strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach
• Flexibility (e.g. assisting others with requests, being able to re- prioritize work, etc.)
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Strong work ethic
• Knowledge and experience with electronic calendar, and e-mail programs (Outlook preferred)
• Highly proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel.

Education

Associate degree or higher.
