Overview

Apply what you have learned into corporate experience with a Purchasing Internship.  This role will be located at Dexter's Elkhart, IN Corporate Office.

Position Summary

In this internship, you will:

• Develop print packages that would feed into RFP’s and run the RFP
• Work with the commodity manager in that area to select the correct suppliers to target in the RFP and communicate the opportunity with those suppliers
• Down select to the most competitive sources and work with the commodity manager on a plan to move the work
• Start the communication process of awards
• Work with using locations/plant to make sure we are not over order or stocking up on those parts
• Gain approval from purchasing team to move forward with the plan and begin implementation. 

Requirements

You must be actively enrolled an accredited university working towards a bachelors or masters degree in Marketing, Business or related area of study.
