IT Project Coordinator jobs in Hollywood, FL

Managed Service Provider focusing on the financial industry but with a diverse client base is seeking to hire a Project Manager to join their Florida operation.

This is a full-time position that requires a candidate who is dynamic, client facing and able to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Managing several projects and initiatives simultaneously, working within the IT department and with clients, as well as other project team members to achieve project completion. This requires the ability to schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results. This role will be responsible for keeping the projects on track with time and budget.

• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements (Project Management plans, Communication plans, Test Plans, Risk Mitigation plans, and other Project Management and planning documents).
• Responsible for overall migration planning of IT infrastructure. Provide datacenter/cloud migration expertise and coordination in support of overall project.
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities. Control timeline of the project, communicate with the stakeholders and meet deadlines.
• Anticipate and mitigate project risks to avoid impacts to timelines and deliverables
• Communicate with senior management and clients on project status, issues, risks, etc.
• Keep project team and key stakeholders informed of changes
• Identify, communicate, and assist teams in removing roadblocks
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and retained

Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years of project management or similar experience (experience managing to deliverables and milestones) of technology projects
• Proficiency with all Windows Operating systems (Windows 10 and 11) and Apple Mac.
• Proficiency with Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365
• Proficiency with the Azure Platform, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Active Directory.
• Proficiency with Office 365, M365 and licensing.
• Proficiency with LAN/WAN/Wireless - Switches, Routers, Access Points, and Firewalls (Experience with Fortinet FortiGate and HP is a plus)
• Experience with Networked Printer, A/V Solutions and Video Conferencing
• Experience leading small to medium size projects or business initiatives
• Experience facilitating team meetings
• Strong written communication skills and facility with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Connectwise, IT Glue
