    The IT Manager will provide administrative IT support agency wide in the effort of operating, optimizing and maintaining the existing Microsoft O365 platform as well as work to incorporate any new services utilized by NEKCA. The ideal candidate is someone who has strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong technical assistance experience, with a can-do attitude, who is a team player, creative, a collaborator and someone who will go out of their way to find solutions to problems. 


    Essential Functions:  

    • Work with the Director of Finance in a supportive role to assist in the management of the O365 system utilized by NEKCA. Includes setting up new accounts, terminating accounts and assigning appropriate licenses. 
    • Work with the following software programs: Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive and other M365 apps (Forms, Power Automate, Planner, etc)  
    • Use judgment, critical thinking, technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to diagnose end-user incidents to restore services or provide solutions 

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Respond and work on tickets regarding Microsoft 365 platforms, in order of level of need. 
    • Provide end user training, guidance, and assistance. 
    • Educates employees on IT services and processes, including appropriate paths to engage IT for support 
    • Analyze incidents, problems, and requests to identify trends and solutions 
    • Maintain equipment listing for all electronic devices and track assignments
    • Pursue educational opportunities and training that further professional development.  

    Requirements

    • Must comply with NEKCA policies if hired. 
    • Staff will be required to authorize and successfully pass NEKCA’s criminal record check process and driving record check process.  
    • Staff is required to be completely vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to starting position 
    • High school diploma/ equivalent or higher, BA in related program preferred 
    • 1-2 years relevant experience required, 3 - 4 years preferred
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills.  
    • Proficiency in Microsoft O365 products. Demonstrated experience in administration of Microsoft O365. 
    • Demonstrated sensitivity to the challenges faced by low-income individuals seeking to become economically self-sufficient.
