    Job Summary/Objective:
    This position will report to the Director of Internal Control and will work collaboratively with the Company’s Internal Audit and other compliance function areas. This role will play an integral role in partnering with the business to define, monitor, assess, and advise on technology risks, Southwires' operations and financial statements and serve as a trusted advisor to system/control owners. This position will also be involved in internal control activities by providing internal control guidance for (i) design and implement control remediation, (ii) implementation of new accounting and internal control policies (iii) supporting other business process continuous improvement initiatives.
    Key Responsibilities
    Control Framework Maintenance
    • Manage IT aspect of Internal Control Activities ranging from control framework assessment, maintenance, and stabilization. Facilitate and support the business and IT function to develop mature and standardized control practice. Collaborate with IT function in the design and formalization of controls as well as control performance monitoring and control deficiency/gap remediation.
    • Manage two Internal Control Analysts
    • Determines the impact of systems development and the implementation and use of technology on the operational and control environment (both technology and business functions). Manage and/or perform tests and evaluations of internal controls over IT planning and organization, IT solution acquisition and implementation, delivery and support of IT services and the monitoring of those IT processes.
    • Work closely with IT and business groups to identify areas of risk, including cyber security and system SOD risks, make valuable recommendations on process and control standardization and formalization, and influence decision-making process to drive change, coordinate and collaborate with business process owners, the Internal Audit, and our external auditor.
    • Monitor control testing in control design and operating effectiveness, in coordination with the Internal Audit, to track progress on the overall control testing and evaluation. Perform evaluation of SOC 1 report to address CUECs within the company.
    • Identify and evaluate control deficiencies and provide control guidance for remediation efforts and support internal control readiness related to integration of “new environments” into ITGC framework and/or process improvements where appropriate.
    • Facilitate and support company-wide communications and develop training sessions, as deemed necessary and appropriate. Develop a high level of credibility and forget validated and positive professional relationships with subordinates, peers, management and outside parties.
    Business Initiative Support
    • Participate and manage IT modernization and implementation initiatives to provide guidance and support on control design and implementation of controls.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with business transformation team on any IT transformation projects to ensure sufficient control coverage.
    • Drive continuous improvement in high-risk processes by identifying improvements and opportunities of automation in collaboration with business leaders, accounting and IT.
    • Keep seamless communication with Director of Internal Control on project progress and overall project management status.
    Internal Audit Collaboration
    • Collaborate with Internal Audit to monitor and address control deficiencies to ensure timely implementation of control remediation and subsequent consistent performance.
    Requirements
    3 IT Audit experience
    Certificates: CPA or CIA
    Bachelor's Degree required; Major in Information System preferred

    Ability to travel up to 25% domestically Preferred:
    • Working experience with GAAP
    • Experience with ITGC and automated/configurable controls in SAP environment
    • SSAE18 / SOC 1 / SOC 2 reports
    • Deep knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and PCAOB Rules
    • IT risk assessments and operational IT audit performance
    • IT general controls (ITGC)
    • COBIT / COSO frameworks
