IT Project Engineer jobs in Norman, OK
IT Project Engineer is responsible for the completion of long-term IT engineering projects. Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Being an IT Project Engineer develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. Additionally, IT Project Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. May require ongoing training in network/telecom seminars. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform Structural / Bridge analysis and calculations
- Prepare Structural / Bridge engineering plans, specs, estimates, and other supporting documents
- Perform conceptual engineering studies
- Provide preliminary engineering and final design
- Mentor and develop less experienced staff
- Report preparation
- Cost estimating
- Agency coordination
- Construction observation/contractor coordination
- Other miscellaneous duties as necessary

Required Credentials
- 7 plus years Civil Engineering work-related experience in Bridge Design
- Experience in Oklahoma Bridge Design
- Steel Girder Design
- BGS, PG super, RISA, Bridge Leap, MicroStation software knowledge
