Being an IT Project Engineer develops, implements, and monitors information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Reviews reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine and address problems. Additionally, IT Project Engineer requires a bachelor's degree. May require ongoing training in network/telecom seminars. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be an IT Project Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     As the Principal IT Security Architect , you will be providing thought leadership and hands-on support across the organization to continuously improve our cybersecurity posture with a focus on building identity and data governance programs.
    This role will work in a remote environment with occasional travel (less than 25%) to Naperville, IL, or Battle Creek, MI.

    HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
    Innovation : Evolve and standardize cybersecurity reference architectures for new systems and applications covering on-prem, SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS
    Collaboration : You will be the technical liaison between business, IT, developers, and engineering resources from a cybersecurity standpoint
    Standardize : Conduct comprehensive risk and gap assessments across the enterprise utilizing a consistent methodology and security best practices.
    Leadership : Be a leader within the design and building activities for new cybersecurity capabilities, tools, and services
    Creativity : Create performance metrics (KPI | KRI) to measure the effectiveness of new and existing cybersecurity capabilities, tools, and services
    YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
    9 years of enterprise architecture, engineering, or security operations experience
    4 years of cloud experience with hands-on implementation experience
    Strong technical knowledge of multi-cloud IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service), and SaaS (Software as a Service) environments
    Expertise in modern malware, TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures), and security vulnerabilities
    Advanced knowledge of NIST CSF (National Institute of Standards and Technology Cyber Security Framework), or MITRE ATT&CK (MITRE Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge) frameworks
    Advanced knowledge of security tools (SAML/Directory Services, Anti-Virus, Endpoint Detection and Response, Data Loss Prevention, Next-Gen Firewall, and Security Information and Event Management)
