Job Summary:

Security Operations Engineer to support day-to-day operations of Intune, MDM and OS support.

Primary Duties:

• Deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring our cloud platform in addition to on prem services.
• Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based environment.
• Working with our internal teams to review our current environment to analyze our effectiveness while driving a roadmap of automation.
• Create, amend, and maintain security policies on the MDM while maintaining enforcement.
• Application and patch management
• Implement best practices, strategies, methodologies, and approaches to systems administration tasks and complex projects.
• Develop repeatable standards and implementation processes to ensure product uniformity and quality.
• Document, deploy, and improve new and existing infrastructure to continually improve Bloomberg's internal user experience.
• Crosstrain in other areas as instructed by manager.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience with an enfaces in security.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• 4 years of engineering experience in an infrastructure role
• Expert in M365 (Entra, Intune and O365), windows OS architecture & securing Windows endpoints
• PowerShell Scripting
• Experience in automating workflows for on-prem and Cloud infrastructure
• Advanced skill in Group Policy and Device Configuration Management.
• Good understanding of endpoint management tools. (MECM)
