    POSITION SUMMARY

    We are seeking a proactive change agent to fill our Quality Assurance Manager role in Greenville, SC. This role will be primarily focused on driving innovation and improvement in our quality assurance processes. The QA Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing new quality control procedures while updating existing protocols to better align with business needs. This candidate will serve as the primary customer-facing Quality Representative, effectively communicating quality issues and updates to clients while devising solutions. This role requires strong leadership skills to drive change and lead a team in reworking existing processes and procedures to make a tangible difference. This candidate must be adept at identifying gaps, solving problems, and driving continuous improvement.     AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the development and implementation of new quality control procedures and protocols, while identifying gaps in existing procedures and updating them to fit business needs.
    • Serve as the primary customer-facing Quality Representative, thoroughly explaining quality issues and updates to clients while developing solutions.
    • Maintain clear documentation and records of quality data, including test results and inspection findings.
    • Collaborate closely with production teams to address and resolve quality issues.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.


    SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing quality assurance tests, inspections, and data analysis.
    • Data-driven approach to QA problems, processes, and procedures.
    • Expertise in quality assurance processes and methodologies.
    • Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards, utilizing software such as AutoCAD.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • High proficiency in using quality assurance tools and equipment including Minitab, Excel, etc.
    • Ability to identify gaps in existing QA processes and procedures and devise techniques to fill them, including building out new processes or updating old ones.
    • Capability to identify new technical software beneficial for new processes.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.


    EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING

    • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field.
    • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in managerial quality assurance position.
    • Training or certification in quality assurance techniques, is encouraged.


    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity. Noise level may be loud at times.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina. Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds at a time.
