IT Vendor Relationship Director designs and implements the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Selects providers and oversees procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Director administers the request for proposals process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Director works closely with managers and teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Typically reports to top management. The IT Vendor Relationship Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an IT Vendor Relationship Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Accountabilities:
    In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of an integrated US brand plan, creating innovative market development strategies, and developing deep customer insights. You will also handle marketing budgets and resources, work with the highest degree of professionalism, and in accordance with the company’s code of Ethics and Business Conduct.

    Essential Skills/Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Science focus preferred)
    • Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical and/or healthcare experience
    • Shown success in marketing, including launching innovative products
    • Successful delivery of strategic and operational plans within a therapeutic or business area

    Ability to effectively lead and influence individuals at all levels and cross-functionally

    • Sound business judgment, ethical behavior, decisiveness, and strategic vision
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
    • Experience building strong external relationships within a therapy ecosystem across healthcare professionals, key accounts, and patient groups
    • Strong financial acuity with the ability to assess and get results
    • Requires approximately 10-20% travel

    Desirable Skills/Experience:
    • Advanced Degree in business, marketing, or the sciences
    • Experience in hospital sales and/or marketing
    • Experience in neurology, GI, and/or trauma
    • Highly Specialized Product launch/life-cycle experience 
    • Social/ Digital marketing experience
    • Direct-report leadership experience
