IT Vendor Relationship Director designs and implements the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Selects providers and oversees procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Director administers the request for proposals process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Director works closely with managers and teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Typically reports to top management. The IT Vendor Relationship Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an IT Vendor Relationship Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Currently REIN is seeking an individual to sell REIN Sponsorships, as well as act as the organization’s sponsor liaison.The position also offers the personal and professional growth opportunity to fundraise for an entrepreneur center. This position is ideally suited for someone seeking compensation for excellent performance and allows personal and professional growth long term with the same organization.

    Job Description

    Position Overview
    We are looking for someone to join us that loves making connections with people, motivating, and inspiring them to achieve results. This role is crucial to the success of our events and community by managing relationships with vendors and sponsors. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding new vendors, maintaining strong connections with existing vendors, and actively promoting the benefits of partnering with Real Estate Investors of Nashville. In general, the core of this position requires a motivated and motivating team builder and organization developer.

    Responsibilities

    Vendor Onboarding

    • Identify and recruit potential vendors to enhance the value of our events.
    • Conduct thorough onboarding sessions for new vendors, ensuring they understand our community, values, and expectations.

    Vendor Relations

    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current vendors.
    • Address vendor inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

    Sales and Promotion

    • Actively sell the benefits of vendor and sponsorship opportunities to potential partners.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase vendor participation and sponsorship revenue.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and content highlighting vendor contributions.

    Deal Closing

    • Negotiate terms and agreements with potential vendors and sponsors.
    • Ensure successful closure of deals, including processing payments and delivering necessary event information.

    Event Support

    • Collaborate with the events team to integrate vendors seamlessly into events.
    • Coordinate logistics and provide on-site support during events to ensure vendor satisfaction.
