IT Vendor Relationship Director designs and implements the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Selects providers and oversees procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Director administers the request for proposals process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Additionally, IT Vendor Relationship Director works closely with managers and teams to monitor, maintain, and improve existing vendor relationships. Conducts regular business reviews to ensure compliance with company expectations, review issues, and develop solutions. May require experience with software licensing and hardware procurement. Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. Typically reports to top management. The IT Vendor Relationship Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     SUMMARY

    The IT Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's information technology infrastructure and operations. This role involves strategic planning, team management, technology implementation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, including security protocols, audits, and regulatory compliance.
    • Lead the organization's overall computing strategy by evaluating providers, infrastructure platforms, and flows, while ensuring data security. .
    • Drive digital transformation initiatives by deploying new technologies, optimizing IT processes, and leveraging data analytics for informed decision-making.
    • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, negotiate agreements, and ensure alignment with IT strategy and budgetary constraints.
    • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize IT service disruptions during emergencies or crises.
    • Implement data analytics and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards, staying updated on relevant laws and best practices.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the IT team, providing training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities.
    • Write, evaluate, and establish IT policies and procedures.

    Food Safety

    Responsible and required to notify management about actual or potential food safety issues; and empowered to act to resolve food safety issues within their scope of work.     Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred Proven experience (5-7 years) in IT leadership roles, with a track record of successful technology implementations and team management. Strong understanding of cybersecurity, computing architecture, data analytics, and industry regulations Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
