IT Vendor Relationship Manager manages the organization's strategic technology vendor management program to meet company needs and comply with required quality standards. Assists with selecting the company's product and service providers and tracks the procurement of IT products and services to monitor and maintain operational costs and budgets. Being an IT Vendor Relationship Manager leads request for proposals (RFP) process to vet the reputation and quality of vendor products. Negotiates service level agreements to ensure performance/quality metrics, responsibilities, expectations, and penalties are clearly defined. Location: Preferred candidate will be near Minneapolis, Minnesota. Position is hybrid, but may require resource to be on-site in Minneapolis 2-3 days/week
Scope of Services:
The IT Business Relationship Manager role involves coordinating the delivery of information technology services to clients, ensuring adherence to service plans and policies, and optimizing service quality and efficiency. This position will manage operational account health, including governance, billing, annual forecasting, and contracting activities in alignment with the Head of IT. The role requires active participation in meetings, reporting on team performance, and continuous improvement of service delivery. Success will be measured by operational health and readiness, strategic and tactical leadership oversight, service delivery and operational readiness, and financial performance against contracts.
