Import Coordination Manager manages operations and processes for scheduling, shipping/receiving, and documentation to import foreign goods and materials. Monitors schedules for potential delays and expedites and negotiates with shippers to resolve issues to ensure imported goods arrive on time. The Import Coordination Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions.
