Infection Control Manager develops and implements infection control policies designed to reduce or eliminate outbreaks in the facility. Develops and implements facility-wide infection prevention and control measures to protect patients, staff and visitors. Being an Infection Control Manager monitors patient care for compliance with established standards and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the source and ensure control. Develops and provides related education to staff. Additionally, Infection Control Manager complies with state, federal and Joint Commission standards relating to infection control. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Infection Control Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Physical Requirements: Performs primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situations. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including CRTs, PCs, telephones, copiers, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.

The HR Operations Manager provides the day-to-day oversight and execution of key HR functions to include Payroll & Benefits, HR Compliance, APIC’s HRIS system, and a variety of special projects. Ensures HR is compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local laws as well as ensures the data integrity of APIC’s HRIS system. Develops and maintains up-to-date department standard operating procedures, and documentation for areas of responsibility. The HR Operations Manager provides enterprise-wide support for APIC and its subsidiaries. This position provides back-up for other HR positions and Facilities as needed.
The HR Operations Manager is expected to perform the duties and responsibilities with exceptional attention to detail and confidentiality. The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities. The HR Operations Manager must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities, meet strict deadlines, and respond to inquiries within a timely manner. This position has high visibility and significant interaction with staff, outside consultants, and vendors. As a result, the incumbent must exhibit exceptional customer service, discretion, accuracy, and timeliness at all times. This position supports the goals and mission of APIC.
