Information Security Manager is responsible for developing and managing Information Systems cyber security, including disaster recovery, database protection and software development. Manages IS security analysts to ensure that all applications are functional and secure. Being an Information Security Manager develops and delivers IS security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise. Implements procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards. Additionally, Information Security Manager migrates non-compliant environments to compliant environments. Evaluates the organization to ensure compliance with standards and relevance with industry security norms. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Information Security Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Information Security Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Our Information Security Manager (ISM) is responsible for all aspects of managing and maintaining a secure information ecosystem at BOLDT. This role plans and designs information security solutions that protect the organization against cyber threats. In addition, this role is expected to help lead and contribute to overall network health and will handle information security projects of significant scope and complexity while administering day-to-day security operations. Our ISM translates the IT-risk requirements and constraints of the business into technical control requirements and specifications, as well as develops metrics for ongoing performance measurement and reporting. The ISM coordinates the IT organization's technical activities to implement and manage security infrastructure, and to provide regular status and service-level reports to management.

    • Lead successful implementation, configuration, and management of all Information Security
      Infrastructure, services, and solutions.
    • Develop, maintain, and drive the information security strategic roadmap based on business needs and company objectives, as well as our security policies, ensuring compliance to security standard processes.
    • Supervise and facilitate the maintenance and support of all information security to ensure system security, reliability, performance, fault tolerance and high availability.
    • Develop security integration plans and perform root cause analysis of security events and incidents.
    • Perform risk analysis to identify any security issues that could lead to lost or stolen data.
    • Lead the response and investigation of security related events.
    • Implement and maintain controls and procedures.
    • Research and analyze emerging technologies. Evaluate, and recommend initiatives that deliver next generation security capabilities and architectures.
    • Implement key processes to include daily maintenance, hardware and software upgrades, patch management and routine system configuration.
    • Engage vendors and IT teams to identify, diagnose and resolve all information security incidents and problems.
    • Work with team to secure all infrastructure and network level components.
    • Supervise and test system performance and capacity.
    • Responsible for deep understanding of network security protocols, configurations, and data flow vital to ensure confidentiality of information and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
    • Lead team and complete all management duties, including performance reviews, coaching, and training.



    Required Experience


    What we expect from you:


    • Bachelor's degree in computer, Information Technology/ Technical degree, with a minimum of 5 years Information Security experience.
    • Minimum of three years supervisory experience.
    • Extensive experience and knowledge of Network Security Technologies, Services and Solutions to include Next generation firewalls, Network Access Control, Remote Access, SDN Infrastructure, Load Balancing/ Application Delivery, SIEM, Virtual Private Networks, IDS/ IPS, Web Application Firewall, and Cloud Security Platforms.
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with ability to understand the big picture while also focusing on completing details well.
    • Demonstrate curiosity and passion for problem-solving with focus on accuracy and timeliness.
    • Shown leadership abilities and interpersonal skills; able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to enhance employee performance.
    • Self-starter, results driven with high degree of energy, tenacity, and creativity.
    • Strong observation, listening, and written/oral communication skills required and desire to learn and grow.
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, read the room, and build consensus as well as handle highly confidential and vital information.

    • Extensive experience and expertise in the following areas: TCP/ IP and NAT, OSI Model, Segmented Networks, Access Control Lists, Profiling/visibility/security posture checks, Authentication/authorization/accounting services,Transport/at-rest encryption, Data center switching and routing, Device hardening, Threat hunting and remediation, vulnerability assessment/management, Triaging of security events from SIEM and other security appliances, Penetration testing, Denial of service mitigation methods and tooling, Threat detection and packet capturing tools, Host and network-based attack methodologies, Incident response/documentation/reporting and investigation, Anti-virus/ malware telemetry/ vulnerability and monitoring tools, Security standards/audits and log analysis, and Cyber security audits and compliance.

    Physical requirements and working conditions:


    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The ability to optimally communicate is required. The employee may occasionally move up to 15 pounds.

    The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work inside an office environment. The environment for which this position functions may contain scents and fragrances. May be requested to work overtime and weekends.
