Injection Molding Set-Up Technician Job Summary:
· Starting at $21.00
· 7a-7p and 7p-7a. Rotating schedule (12-hour shifts)
· Perform mold changes and set-ups on injection molding machines as per production schedules and quality standards.
· Collaborate with the production team to optimize injection molding processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
· Conduct inspections and tests to ensure products meet specifications, adjusting as needed during the set-up process.
· Execute routine maintenance tasks on injection molding machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.
· Maintain accurate records of set-up activities, production parameters, and adjustments made during the process.
· Work closely with production operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to achieve production goals and resolve technical issues.
· Adhere to safety protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
Injection Molding Set-Up Technician Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in setting up and operating injection molding machines in a food and beverage packaging environment.
· Proficient in mold changes, machine set-ups, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Familiarity with different types of injection molding machines.
· Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control standards related to packaging materials.
· Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and convey information regarding set-up activities.
· Strong problem-solving abilities with the capability to analyze issues and implement corrective actions.
· Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following safety protocols.
· Experience with forklift operations, including both reach and sit-down forklifts, in a tight warehouse space, demonstrating confidence in maneuvering within confined areas.
· Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
· Previous experience with scanners and material handling, shipping, and receiving processes.
