Installation & Maintenance Technician Director directs the installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Ensures compliance to customer specifications and company requirements. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician Director leads all functions and ensures they are completed on time and within budget. Oversees the scheduling of installation and maintenance services. Additionally, Installation & Maintenance Technician Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Installation & Maintenance Technician Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. - Bed preparation, planting, mulching, and landscape/hardscape installation.
- Operation of small engine equipment including chainsaws, pole saws, and rototillers.
- Communicate daily with the Manager regarding daily schedule and progress.
- Attention to detail and safety.
Requirements:- Be able/willing to work outside, occasionally in less than ideal weather conditions. (Rain, Cold, or extreme heat).
- Be able to do labor-intensive and repetitive tasks throughout an entire work shift. (repeated kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting).
- Have some knowledge of landscape and hardscape, and a willingness to learn.
- Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
- Be able to interact professionally with managers, coworkers, and customers.
- Be able to work both independently with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
