Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. installs, maintains, tests, troubleshoots, and repairs switches, cables, and other telecommunications equipment in the field to ensure optimum network usage and quality. Documents and verifies equipment problems and repairs. Being an Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. To be an Installation & Maintenance Technician, Sr. typically requires 3-5 years of related experience. We seek an Installation Technician to perform installations in the Twin Valley, MN area.
We will train you if you are a self-directed, professional individual and have an interest in learning more about electronics and IP (internet protocol).
We ask that you bring the following credentials:
- A positive, customer focused attitude preferably with some experience working in-person with customers
- A basic understanding of electronics
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Good computer skills
- Willingness to learn, learn, learn, and apply the knowledge and skills
- Willingness to do some overnight travel within Minnesota
- Clean safety record
- Clear driving record
