Instructional Technology Specialist supports faculty members utilizing information technology in support of teaching and learning. Develops computer training materials and assists in teaching how to set up and use computer applications and related technologies. Being an Instructional Technology Specialist may troubleshoot technical problems and train junior staff members. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Instructional Technology Specialist typically reports to a manager. The Instructional Technology Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Technical Job Description

    Expense Specialist 

    Respond to Customer Requests and Inquiries

    • Receive general directional support requests from Micron Team Members through email or other communication method (such as, telephone, IM, or email)
    • Utilize the Travel and Expense Portal, research or troubleshoot request as needed to provide answers and clarifications to find resolutions
    • Provide requestor with information, or refer or escalate to the appropriate resource
    • Escalate issues to service managers or other appropriate party, as needed
    • Update the relevant Expense process with applicable information
    • Receive training from Travel Manager or appropriate party for new or changed services
    • Assist in monitoring and reviewing process effectiveness of Expense related services
    • Monthly reporting
    • Policy compliance tracking, administration, direct team member communications on out of policy activities
    • Technical liaison with Accounts Payable and IT functions on system related issues
    • Coordinate reporting needs with Micron Leaders
    • Coordinate reporting, collections escalations, and other needs in support of the travel corporate credit card

    Education

    Required

    High School Diploma

    Minimum 1 Year Technical College, Associates Degree, or eq

    Experience

    Required

    3 Years Customer Service experience
    Proficient in Excel

    Desired

    1 Year Finance related experience

    1 Year Concur Expense experience (user or administrator)

    • Excellent writing and communication skills and the ability to communicate with team members and management at all levels in the company.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills to prioritize a workload and the ability to multitask to meet deadlines in a fast-changing environment
    • Demonstrated customer service orientation and skills, with the ability to interact with a wide variety of people in a professional manner.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Demonstrated ability to deal and work with worker- and company-related confidential information.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
    • Problem-solving skills.
