Sandwich Middle High School seeks a dynamic educator who cares about the whole student and wants to implement a digital literacy/computer science curriculum for our students in grades 7 -12.  As technology continues to impact society, students need to understand this impact and how to use technology effectively as a problem-solving tool. 

Job Goal:

To engage students in digital literacy and computer science skills and concepts through the integration of practices, while making connections to what they know and the world they live in. 

Requirements:

• Currently licensed or eligible for licensure in Digital Literacy/Computer Science(5-12) from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher from accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of and the ability plan and implement the MA Digital Literacy/Computer Science curriculum standards.
• Prior successful classroom work experience as a digital literacy/computer science teacher at the middle/high school level preferred.
• Classroom management skills that support students' social emotional learning.
• Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners.
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
