Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Computer Science provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Computer Science typically reports to a department head. Canton High School is seeking an exceptional and dynamic candidate to serve as a Math/Computer Science teacher for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond (start date of August 26, 2024). The anticipated course assignment will include one section of Computer Science for the 24-25 school year. This course is supported by Project Lead the Way funding and resources.
The Math/Computer Science teacher will join a vibrant and supportive team that places a high priority on collaboration, creativity, flexibility, and commitment to the goals of the District and to our students, families, and staff.
