Instructor - Dentistry teaches courses in the discipline area of dentistry. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Dentistry provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Dentistry typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. We are looking for someone who has previous experience with billing, processing dental claims, and pre-authorizations. We use Curve as a practice management software and Weave for phones and 2 way texting.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling in-office IV sedation and OR with Maine Medical Center
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Processing and posting insurance claims
- Weekly and monthly Reports
- Processing patient referrals
- Professional communication with referring offices
- Financial agreements
Pay:
- From $26/Hour based on experience

- The office annually closes the week of July 4th, and the week between Christmas and January 1st.
