    Job Description

    The Energy Systems Technology and Education Center (ESTEC) seeks to hire a faculty member to support the Industrial Cybersecurity Engineering Technology (ICET) program. The ICET program is the nation's first hands-on Industrial Cybersecurity degree that prepares students to track evolving threats to national security, defend the critical infrastructure facilities, stop attacks by cyber-criminals, engineer safeguards for critical systems, and understand the fundamentals of industrial control systems. Courses are taught in person and with a variety of digital technologies including synchronous, asynchronous and virtual methods. Courses are taught in multiple locations. The successful candidate will provide technical education to students, participate in recruitment, ABET Accreditation, and perform service or other duties as assigned by the Department or College.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associate of Applied Science Degree
    • Five years of industry related experience in any of the following career fields: Information Technology, Industrial Automation, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity
    • Must be able to be certified by Idaho Career and Technical Education (CTE) (https://cte.idaho.gov)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience in technical education
    • Experience in developing instructional content

    Additional Information

    You must submit your CV/resume, cover letter, and list of three (3) professional references, including current contact information. This position will remain open until it is filled; however, priority consideration will be given to applications received prior to December 4, 2023. Salary will be between $85,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience.
