Instructor - Mathematics teaches courses in the discipline area of mathematics and statistics. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Mathematics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Mathematics typically reports to a department head. Location: Creston, Iowa
Individual will be responsible for teaching algebra, statistics, calculus, and other mathematics courses. Instructional delivery may be a combination of face-to-face and video conferencing classes.
Qualifications include a master's degree in mathematics or a master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate credits in mathematics. Previous teaching experience desired. This is a full time, nine month (167 day) instructional contract, with full benefit package, beginning August 2024.
