The Medical Admin/Patient Access Instructor is responsible for delivering a comprehensive training program to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge required to provide effective support within the community health center. Their responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:

• Presenting a curriculum that covers essential topics in medical administration, including welcoming, patient registration, insurance verification, and establishing first contact with the patients.
• Explain the importance of Electronic Health Record (HER), HIPAAM PHI, et al.
• Following instructional materials, such as presentations, handouts, and lab exercises, to facilitate learning and reinforce key concepts.
• Delivering engaging and interactive classroom lectures and hands-on training sessions.
• Assessing student progress through quizzes, exams, and practical assignments.
• Providing individualized support and guidance to students as needed to enhance their learning experience.
• Collaborating with other staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• Staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continually update and improve the curriculum.
• Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
• Participating in program evaluation and improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the training program.
• Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field (preferred).
• Extensive experience with different teaching methods, a strong background in healthcare settings with the laws of the state.
• Proven teaching or training experience, preferably in adult education or workforce development settings.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Patient and supportive demeanor, with a passion for helping others succeed in their learning journey.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Secondary education, Gifted and Talented education) are a plus
