Instructor - Music teaches courses in the discipline area of music. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Music typically reports to a department head. Position
Hill House is seeking to hire an experienced, energetic, focused and self-sufficient individual to provide music lessons for various instruments to children ages 4 to 13 years old offered in 30 minute or hour timeslots.
This Instructor must be a nurturing, mature, and responsible fun-loving individual who loves to share their passion for music with students varying within this age group. The Music Instructor must be capable of independently leading an age-appropriate curriculum that includes everything needed to improve in their instrument of choice over the course of a 10-week session.
Instructors will create a positive, safe environment where all students feel secure to explore and develop new skills. We are looking for instructors who will go above and beyond for our families and who will create a high quality class.
Successful instructors will be given the opportunity for future classes in later sessions, and opportunity for creating additional classes throughout the year. This position does not offer health or dental benefits.

Season Dates
This position is for the school year 2024-2025 starting in September, with all major holidays off, and a two week holiday season closure in December.
