Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for a Nursing Instructor at the Scottsbluff Campus.
Responsibilities: Classroom instruction and clinical supervision of students in a Practical Nursing and Associate’s degree nursing education program. Ideal candidate will be a content expert willing to become an active, involved team member who provides superior instruction and fosters student success. Some evening or weekend scheduling; travel between campuses required. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for a nurse instructor who functions independently yet can thrive in a team environment. A passion for student learning and student service is weighted heavily in the hiring process.
Qualifications: MSN highly preferred; a minimum of one-year full-time nursing experience and current Nebraska license required. BSN with extensive nursing experience considered. Candidates who do not possess a master’s degree must commit to and complete a graduate program in nursing or nursing education. Previous teaching experience preferred, along with a demonstrable record of success in coordinating clinical experiences. Familiarity with online education and Interactive Television instructional delivery preferred.
