    We are looking to fill an immediate opening for an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant and certified Pilates Instructor for our clinic who wants more than just a job but an amazing experience to learn and grow as an instructor and a person!     We are Physical Therapy for everyBODY, located in Maple Valley, WA. We opened our doors in 2016 and are growing to serve women primarily over the age of 39. We are in current need of filling this position to extend the services we offer our tribe including Pilates, Stretch Therapy, and Shockwave.

    PT4EB is currently the leading clinic to receive a holistic approach to healing from injury or chronic pain issues. The people we serve have been through the traditional medical system and not received the results they are looking for. After experiencing a life changing transformation with PT4EB, they are empowered to live life on their terms and return to all the activities that make life worth living.

    ROLE & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Experience as a Pilates Instructor and a license as a Physical Therapy Assistant are required. Skills are important, but personality and ability to listen to the client and provide an amazing experience is most important!

    You will be responsible for helping to develop a clinical Pilates program, retaining clients to continue with appropriate services, be a team player by knowing when to refer appropriate clients to other services, ensuring that all of our clients are looked after and made to feel welcomed whenever they enter your world.

    SKILLS/COMPETENCIES NEEDED:

    • Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant position with 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic position
    • Graduate of a comprehensive Pilates certification/training program with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. This is a therapeutic Pilates environment and offers very personalized instruction, not a fitness studio type of Pilates.
    • Willing to learn from and be mentored by a PhD trained Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist. Have a high comfort level in providing hands-on manual therapy techniques and believe strongly in the usage of “hands-on” treatment to help patient achieve their goals
    • Provide a warm and welcoming greeting to patients when they arrive, making them feel like they are part of a community and family. Work with the owner and other practitioners participating in ongoing marketing efforts/special events to gain new clients.
    • Has experience with sales and performing new client sessions to transition to a package/membership (team effort!)
    • Hold their communication in high regard and relish in the opportunity to effectively and efficiently take leadership of clinical situations when needed
    • Accountability - thrive on tracking their performance through objective measure as both a way to ensure the success of the company and personal success in their role

    Schedule: PT4EB is open Monday-Friday from 9 am – 7 pm. This position will require Friday hours. The option for a Tuesday – Friday work schedule is available.
