Being an Instructor - Rehabilitation provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. Must be able to work with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset people within the facility. Must be able to speak, write and understand English in a manner that is sufficient for effective communication with supervisors, employees, residents, and families.
Education and Experience
Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the subject field. Evidence of proficiency in Instructional methodology strong interpersonal communication skills.
Applies and accepted for state CNA instructor and testier if applicable.
Licensing/Certifications
Must possess a current and active license to practice as an RN in this state.
