Intake Services Representative - Home Care jobs in Hawaii

Kina'ole Home Health is looking for a qualified intake/scheduler in Honolulu.

Home Health Company has an immediate opening for a full-time Scheduler/Staffing Coordinator. The right candidate MUST HAVE home health scheduling experience. Must be someone who feels comfortable using computers.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for scheduling clinicians to provide care for clients in their homes
• Accurately maintains client/staff schedules using home care software
• Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a professional office environment; preferably with a health care organization.
• High school diploma. Medical Assistant Preferred
• Knowledge of computer word processing programs, systems and other software.
• Knowledge of organization policies, procedures, systems.
• Knowledge of office management practices and secretarial procedures.
• Knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation to type from draft copy, review and edit reports, and correspondence.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities.
• Ability to have EXTREME attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, external agencies.
• Coordinate schedules on a consistent basis throughout the day
• Maintain ongoing relationships with clients, their families, and employees
• Daily communication is a MUST for clients, their families, and employees to ensure services and concerns are being met in a timely manner
• Rotate on-call - Extra Compensation
• Assist Payroll by approving/verifying daily driving records
• Perform clerical duties as needed
• Answers phone pleasantly and with professionalism
• Candidates must be detailed, quick thinkers, who get energized talking with clients and employees, resolving issues, providing clear communication and keeping satisfaction high.
• Some filing required
• Promote and represent the company in a positive manner
• Job Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 Year of experience with home health scheduling
• Pleasant phone voice and demeanor
• Ability to read, write, and speak using the English language

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
