This position will report to the Senior Manager of Product Lifecycle Management within the North American engineering organization. Position will coordinate all PLM activities from electrical and systems engineering disciplines to fulfill defined project and product requirements. On a typical day you will: Drive performance to plan and achieve schedule, requirements, and financial commitments Coach, lead, and mentor team members; mentoring less experienced engineers, train new employees, Team Building as well as sharing information and experience with staff are important skills. Effective delegation of work packages Lead the electrical engineering team to address program risk and issues; create, maintain, and drive action plans to closure This position will include oversight of project schedules, budget, product cost targets, technical performance, and quality Organize and conduct program status reviews, team meetings, and various other regular departmental activities Develop process improvements for design, test, release, and implementation phases of electrical development Manage resource allocation to address competing priorities from field, marketing, and other internal and external customers. Communicate effectively with customers and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve common goals Participate in all administrative activities including hiring, compensation planning and performance management.
