Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager jobs in New Mexico
Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. - Directs the operation of a wildland fire engine ensuring the correct positioning, proper use and operation.
- Performs and directs others in starting pump engine, priming pump, adjusting engine speed and pump valves, laying hose and in the operation and maintenance of chainsaws.
- Conducts and participates in crew proficiency checks and drills, safety sessions, and fire critiques.
- Ensures the engine is kept in a full state of readiness for emergency fire dispatch.
- Gathers and considers information on weather data, topography, fuel types, and fire behavior in responding to wildland fire incidents.
- Makes initial evaluation of fire situations; determines suppression methods to use, deployment of module/crew, type of tools to use and application of water.
- Coordinates and provides oversight in the operation and maintenance of specialized equipment used to respond to wildland and prescribed fire situations.
- Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinate positions, sets and adjusts priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
