Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager jobs in Ohio
Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Key Responsibilities:
SkyMark Refuelers is the worldwide leader in aircraft refueling. Your role as an assembler will be crucial to producing top-quality, highly-engineered, critical equipment that is in high demand:
- Assembly: fuel tanks, pumps, valves, hoses, hydraulics, electronics. Your role will involve the assembly of all of these systems.
- Quality Control: Inspection, compliance, safety. Safely assembling refuelers to exacting standards is crucial.
- Collaboration and communication: Collaborate with the assembly team, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication of assembly progress, challenges, and improvements. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback and suggestions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of mechanical/heavy equipment experience, including the use of mechanical tools
- Experience with electrical systems, including 12V/24V systems
