Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor jobs in Kansas
Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. To be an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Pay Rate/Range: $17-19/hr
Description: Local aircraft manufacturing company is looking to add to their assembly team! Associates will be responsible for completing assembly according to process specifications, resident planning and blueprint for sheet metal parts. This position is in a air conditioned and heated plant, as well as a clean room environment!
Job Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of rivet or sheet metal assembly is required. Preferred experience includes previous manufacturing experience. The right candidates will have great mechanical aptitude, willingness to learn and ability to read and comprehend job orders.
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
