Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor supervises interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Summary
This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. ARTs are part of the regular career civil service and enjoy all the benefits granted to Federal employees in the competitive civil service.
In addition, ARTs are required to maintain their active membership in the AF Reserve unit where assigned. ARTs receive on average one weekend of military training per month.

Duties
The primary purpose of this position is : to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Fabrication Flight Chief, exercising technical and administrative supervision over subordinate supervisors and workers in accomplishing the total aircraft metals, structural, and nondestructive testing (NDI) work in an integrated environment as well as to train reservists in the duties and responsibilities set forth herein.
