    Position Summary:

    Administers Company’s payroll processing, ensuring all payroll processes are in compliance with federal and state regulations. Performs clerical and administrative support to one or more functional areas within Human Resources department requiring in-depth knowledge of compensation programs, company policies, and administrative procedures.

    • Responsible for payroll system administration including the integrity of the payroll, time and attendance and employee recordkeeping functions.
    • Process weekly, bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls using payroll platform as well as all related follow-up work.
      • Administer time and attendance and entitlement accruals for business units.
      • Reviewing all payrolls
      • Responsible for tracking of PTO and absence information using Excel and ERP
      • Assists employees with payroll questions and resolves discrepancies
      • Partners with HR Generalist(s) in employee experience including recruitment, onboarding, development, engagement, and retention
      • Work with accounting to ensure needed payroll reports are provided on a timely basis; resolving payroll journal entry errors.
      • Balance total hours received with total hours loaded into payroll system.
      • Verify overtime rule calculations.
      • Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, and insurance and 401(k) deductions.
      • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
      • Adopt ENTEK culture and core values.

    Experience and Skills:

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

    • An associate’s degree and a minimum two (2) years of payroll experience, or a similar combination of education and experience.
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience working in Human Resources, or similar experience.
    • Must have computer skills and the ability to learn payroll systems (Paylocity or other in-house system). Must be proficient in Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills essential.
    • Servant leadership focused; positive and helpful approach to optimistic and adverse situations

    Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

    • Experience with Axapta, Paylocity or other in-house systems is a plus.
