Position: Epic Applications Manager

Salary/Pay Rate: up to $135,000 DOE

Archon Resources is currently looking for aEpic Application Manager(Direct Hire) to join one of our best clients located Remotely. This is a direct-hirewith an (Permanent position with full benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, & 401k)

Hours:
Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm, Central Time Zone

Job Summary:
Plans, organizes, and directs Epic Application development and support efforts for clinical, business, and mobile applications. Performs needed analysis in response to user requests for application development, enhancement, and support.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related scientific/technical field strongly preferred.

Work Experience:
4 years IT experience with 3 years in application development and support inclusive of experience in all facets of technologies with emphasis on operation, function, and software application services.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be self-motivated with excellent oral and written communications skills and team leadership ability. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and supported software applications is required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provides for implementation and support of software applications, under the constructs and objectives of the Information Systems Plan of the client.
• Provides management and direction for assigned teams.
• includes establishing priorities, coordination, and the reporting of team activities.
• Provides application support to assigned user groups, with responsibility for meeting established service level objectives.
• Provides application development planning input to the budgeting process for applications and manages staff and projects while meeting established budgetary guidelines.
• Manages required maintenance and updates activities, thus maintaining current levels of application content while considering functional, operational, and administrative requirements/specifications for supported applications.
• Maintains a knowledge level of tools and technologies, providing recommendations regarding timely and appropriate deployment of such technologies.
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of the health system and practices a high level of customer service in all aspects of job duties.

Decision Making:
Evaluates requests and manages issue resolution pertaining to software applications under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with departmental policies and guidelines and general instructions from supervisor.

Working Relationships:
Direct supervision of others. Prepares and gives performance evaluations. Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at director level or above.

Special Job Dimensions:
Requires on-call status as scheduled or needed. Rarely.
