Job Summary:
Plans, organizes, and directs Epic Application development and support efforts for clinical, business, and mobile applications. Performs needed analysis in response to user requests for application development, enhancement, and support.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related scientific/technical field strongly preferred.
Work Experience:
4 years IT experience with 3 years in application development and support inclusive of experience in all facets of technologies with emphasis on operation, function, and software application services.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to be self-motivated with excellent oral and written communications skills and team leadership ability. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and supported software applications is required.

Decision Making:
Evaluates requests and manages issue resolution pertaining to software applications under constantly changing conditions, in conformance with departmental policies and guidelines and general instructions from supervisor.
Working Relationships:
Direct supervision of others. Prepares and gives performance evaluations. Works with internal and/or external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff. Works frequently with individuals at director level or above.
Special Job Dimensions:
Requires on-call status as scheduled or needed. Rarely.
