Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investment Analyst typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Investment Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Group Description: Texas Capital’s Energy Group provides a full suite of advisory and capital markets capabilities to clients across the energy industry, with a focus on energy transition, exploration and production, midstream and oil service. The Energy Group consists of a team of approximately 30 bankers focused on providing these services to clients throughout North America. Position: The Energy Investment Banking team is actively looking for an experienced Analyst to help support the Energy coverage team, based in Houston, Texas. The candidate will be working closely with senior members across the Energy Group in a sector with significant M&A, equity and leverage finance transaction activity. Primary Responsibilities: Participate in the execution of equity and debt financings, M&A and A&D transactions, as well as restructuring and recapitalization transactions. Ability to contribute as part of a team, perform detailed financial analysis, develop relevant content and drive transaction processes. Perform detailed financial modeling, including discounted cash flow, pro forma merger, precedent transaction, and comparable company valuation analyses. Prepare pitch books and transaction materials, including offering memoranda, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, lender presentations and prospectuses. Analyze detailed corporate and financial information, as well as conduct due diligence. Develop client relationships through deal execution and pitching. Required Background: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of 2 years of investment banking experience; relevant financial advisory (M&A / A&D) or direct exploration & production (E&P) industry experience will also be considered. Proficiency in financial modeling. Experience across energy sector with an emphasis on exploration & production required. Lives in Houston, Texas or willing to relocate. About Rocky Mount, North Carolina
Rocky Mount is a city in Edgecombe and Nash counties in the Atlantic coastal plain region of the U.S. state of North Carolina.
