Jig and Fixture Builder jobs in Tennessee

Duties:

• Ability to develop and layout fixtures used for production to build racks using blueprints and verbal direction from engineering.
• Track progress of work and estimate completion of jobs.
• Develop work instructions as needed to assist production on fixture use.
• Insure any engineering/material changes made get communicated to engineering and production.
• Insure changes made post release gets communicated to production and determine along with engineering if any fixture modifications or additional fixtures will be required.
• Pre-plan jobs insuring all resources are available.
• Insure completion of First Article process.

Experience:

• Must Have Mig Welding Experience
• Experience with the fabrication of custom manufacturing fixtures
• Past Experience in a Tooling or Custom Machinary Shop a Plus
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to problem solve
• Blue Print Reading
• Basic math skills
