Propio is looking for a driven Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing finance team. This position will be responsible for effective, accurate, and efficient handling of all aspects of accounts receivable. Primary duties will include creating and sending invoices for multiple entities, processing daily check deposits, collections activities on past due accounts, and intercompany payment application. The ideal candidate should demonstrate solid problem-solving abilities, be comfortable learning new tools, and possess strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Essential Job Functions- Daily mail runs, check scanning and remote deposit processing.
- Process and apply electronic customer payments (ACH/credit cards).
- Perform customer account research with the ability to analyze and resolve complex payment related issues.
- Process correcting adjustments, including misapplied payments, overpayments, customer reconciliations, customer credits, etc.
- Actively engage with customers to resolve unapplied payments and unapplied credits.
- Field questions from customers and internal resources regarding statements and invoices.
- Successfully contact and collect on customer accounts and past due invoices.
- Manage the tracking of custom billing and upload to customer portals when necessary.
- Generate invoices and account statements.
- Prepare AR reports and analysis as needed.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure a positive overall customer experience.
- Assist financial reporting team with relevant monthly account reconciliations.
- Provide support for internal and external audits as necessary.
- Assist with other accounting-based duties and functions as needed.
Qualifications- Proven work experience as a Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist or Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist, including complex cash application experience.
- Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced, changing, and ambiguous work environment.
- Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
- Problem-solving attitude.

- Effective, professional communication skills.
