Responsibilities of the Point of Care Coordinator (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- Point of Care Coordinator oversees point of care testing activities for the laboratory and ensures quality standards and regulatory compliance
- Assures all POC testing users are competent and compliant.
- Responsible for visiting various laboratory sites and offices to inspect POC testing protocols, quality control and competency.
- Will perform bench work as needed and will work weekends and holidays on rotation in a clinical department
Requirements of the Point of Care Coordinator(MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- ASCP or equivalent certification required
- BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
- 3 years of clinical laboratory experience required
