Being a Laboratory Courier is responsible for maintenance and care of vehicle. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Laboratory Courier must be licensed to operate a vehicle. Licensing requirements depend on the state. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Laboratory Courier may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Courier is responsible for providing courier services for Farewells to include regular, scheduled services for all departments and locations and services in support of death certificate processing. Operates independently to assure timely, accurate, and reliable pick-up and delivery of documents and all other designated materials in keeping with established standards and practices.
