Transport of Laboratory specimen & materials to/from FHC Clinics and other locations as necessary for Laboratory operations.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Inspect the courier vehicle daily before each shift to insure proper and safe operating condition.
• Arrange for the proper maintenance of the courier vehicle to ensure safe, reliable operation.
• Report any vehicle safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Transport lab specimens, blood products, reports and supplies to/from Laboratory clinics, reference labs, or other destinations associated with Laboratory operations.
• Participate in self-scheduling to insure consistent staffing of the courier position.
• Utilize and accurately comply with the specimen tracking system.
• Collect operational statistics as may be required from time to time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Completes department-specific orientation and annual competencies for this position.

Requirements for this position include:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Customer service skills required
• Valid Wisconsin Drivers License required
• Violation free driving record for 3 years
