Position Summary
The Laboratory Manager plays a vital role in the overall safety of the laboratory and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the lab. The Lab Manager takes responsibility for all aspects of the lab, including but not limited to instruments/equipment, laboratory personnel, and supplies needed to ensure the lab runs smoothly.
The Laboratory Manager assures reliable, high-quality diagnostic test results expeditiously delivered to practitioners. Provides efficient and effective leadership. In addition, the Laboratory Manager is responsible for keeping the Laboratory fiscally sound. This includes keeping all finances for the department within the Board approved budget and working with Administration to resolve any problems.
