We're driven by a commitment to excellence, community safety, and client satisfaction. To further our mission, we're currently seeking a dynamic Field Manager to lead our teams throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is a key role for us to fill within our leadership team. We are looking for a deadicated individual than can bring energy and a passion to grow within a business and others around them. We are looking for someone who can alight with our current culture and alight with a collaborative approach through growing the business through strong leadership and management.

Winter (Snow Removal):

• Direct and manage daily snow removal operations, guaranteeing prompt and efficient services.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher to tackle emergent snow removal requirements and prioritize routes.
• Train, guide, and mentor snow removal staff, ensuring adherence to our high standards and safety guidelines.
• Organize routine equipment checks and liaise with the maintenance department to guarantee operational readiness.
• Address on-the-spot client concerns or queries related to snow removal.

Spring/Summer (Lawn & Landscape Maintenance):

• Seamlessly transition and manage teams from snow removal practices to lawn care and landscape duties.
• Supervise the execution of landscaping enhancement projects to meet design specifics and client needs. This covers mainly softscapes (Mulch, Edging, Rock Install, and Planting)
• Oversee the maintenance schedule for lawns, gardens, and other green spaces.
• Instruct staff on landscaping best practices, gardening insights, and proper equipment utilization.
• Foster relationships with suppliers for timely acquisition of essential materials.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures, aiming for client delight and landscape excellence.

General:

• Hire, educate, and oversee field staff, promoting optimal performance and adherence to the University Lawn Care ethos.
• Oversee field operation budgets and expenses.
• Consistently seek and integrate process improvements for heightened efficiency and client contentment.
• Engage actively with other managerial personnel to synchronize operational targets with overarching company ambitions.
• Guarantee all operations comply with local mandates and environmental stipulations.

Qualifications:

• Prior hands-on experience in both snow removal and landscape maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant equipment.
• Proven training and mentorship skills.
• Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets and costs.
• Stellar communication and relationship-building skills.
• A valid driver's license.
