Lean Manufacturing Specialist jobs in Montana
Lean Manufacturing Specialist assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Troubleshoot and repair MIG and TIG welding equipment
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment and machinery
- Remodeling/repair of buildings and structures
- Grounds maintenance
- Demonstrates capability of multi-tasking effectively
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated safe working practices is essential
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience using and/or maintaining fabrication and welding equipment
- Strong knowledge of welding and cutting preferred
- Strong electrical knowledge and/or training with 3 phase power
- Electrical and mechanical controls experience; PLC’s is a plus
Salary: Dependent upon skillset, starting at $23.00 per hour
Typical work schedule is 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime as needed.
