Lean Manufacturing Specialist assists with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the organization. Evaluates all continuous improvement activities and implements plans to optimize performance and processes. Being a Lean Manufacturing Specialist employs Lean methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Lean Manufacturing Specialist also requires training and Lean certification through an accredited organization. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Lean Manufacturing Specialist typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Job Summary :

    The Accounts Receivable Specialist is an integral role within the Finance Department responsible for processing the day-to-day sales transactions of the business under the direction of the Director of Finance.

    This position provides administrative and accounting support through their expertise in managing invoicing and customer collections.

    The role will work cross-functionally with other departments and will have the opportunity to drive process improvements in a rapidly changing environment.

    Work Responsibilities & Duties :

    • Monitoring the accounts receivable aging report and identifying past due accounts.
    • Work with customer accounts payable departments to resolve issues in a timely manner.
    • Manage company’s merchant service provider and process all related transactions.
    • Manage and verify new customers, researching credit history, and system setup.
    • Daily recording of cash receipts, customer invoices, credits, deposits, and adjustments.
    • Work closely with Sales Departments to manage customer claims.
    • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned by direct supervisor.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements :

    Postsecondary education is desired with accounting and / or bookkeeping experience.

    Preferred Skills and Expectations :

    • Proficient in Microsoft office and have good general computer skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and be self-motivated to work under his / her own initiative while working well in a team environment.
    • Excellent telephone manner and listening skills, relate to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Strong attention to detail, possess analytical skills with the ability to investigate questionable data, must be able to maintain confidential information.
    • Must pass state, federal and criminal background check as well as a drug screening.
