    About the Position

    We are seeking to fill a full-time role to manage the accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities for our US operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a full-charge bookkeeper, have extensive experience working with QuickBooks and be willing to work both independently and collaboratively with our overseas counterparts.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Accounts Payable of the assigned business unit(s).
    • Monitor the financial records, and cash flow of the assigned business unit(s) / produce required cash flow and budget forecasts.
    • Bank Account Reconciliation of the assigned business unit(s).
    • Analyze costs and trends for the assigned business unit(s).
    • Collaborate with overseas accounting team for month end reporting to ensure accuracy and timely completion of reports.
    • Collaborate with Payroll to fund payroll account, and initiate salary and expense payments to foreign nationals.
    • Inter-organizational Accounts Receivable and transaction reconciliation process.
    • Oversee Expense Reimbursements for employees in the assigned business unit(s).
    • Consults with supervisor on fiscal administration and budget procedures.
    • Reconciles department reports for assigned business unit(s).
    • Creates and shares external accounting reports with financial institutes, insurance companies, or government agencies as needed.
    • Prepares periodic financial statements and reports for internal use.
    • Collaborate with Company Accountant to facilitate year-end tax filings, reviews, and audits as necessary.
    • Issue 1099 NEC & 1099 MISC.
    • Maintain general ledger.
    • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
    • Knowledge of accounting software program(s).
    • Knowledge of analyzing and reporting on financial data.
    • Knowledge of tax filing systems and processes
    • Knowledge of office practices and clerical/accounting procedures.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, self-directing projects and responsibilities to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
    • Ability to efficiently operate computers and computer systems.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software; significant experience with Excel required.

    Education and Experience:

    • BS in Accounting preferred, CPA certification a plus
    • Five or more years as a full charge bookkeeper
    • Two or more years of experience in QuickBooks

    Physical Requirements:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • May need to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
