    Macro Magnetics is seeking a full-time Lean Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our continuous improvement efforts, focusing on people, products, systems, operations, and processes.

    FLSA Classification: Salaried Full-Time

    Hourly Rate Estimate: $39,520.00-$58,240.00

    Job Summary:

    The Lean Facilitator participates in a continuous improvement and/or efficiency project within Macro Magnetics, focusing on people, products, systems, operations, and processes.

    Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • None.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Analyze current work practices to identify areas for improvement and educate as to how to improve business and manufacturing processes. Devise and test solutions and roll out new ways of working.
    • Perform 5-Why/root cause analysis and resolve problems.
    • Deploy PDCA methodologies to problem solving and support teams to solve problems. Ensure the escalation process for problem solving is effective.
    • Carry out time and motion studies (Time observations) to support productivity improvements.
    • Sharing results of problem solving completed to leadership.
    • Process mapping, value stream mapping, identifying waste in productivity with a particular focus on layouts and sequencing.
    • Focus on customer demand, valving team members, shop floor presents, daily continuous improvement.
    • Recommend to Leadership improvement that can cut waste from operating procedures.

    • Must be able to see details at close range.
    • Must be able to lift up to15 pounds at times.
